These two guys were just passing through Idyllwild on their way to Canada by way of the Pacific Crest Trail. "Through-hikers" as they are called are a fascinating breed. I liked these fellas.You can follow the "thru-hiking" adventure of the bearded gentleman on the left here.
You just walk up to people and ask if you can take a picture of their beards???
