They are completed with all of the necessary schedules and forms attached in the proper order, and placed inside an envelope with the proper address and the necessary amount of postage on its face. I will laugh like a rich man tomorrow as I slide it into the mail box.

I read this with an embarrassing amount of jealousy as my completion of this heinous task depends on the expedience of others. I currently have one of three w-2's and wait on four(?) 1099's... sigh. But... good for you JT, congrats.
I heard that the IRS does not want any itemized returns until the end of February. Since the tax laws were not in place until the end of December, they need time to update their software. At first they said end of January, then they changed it. Hopefully it won't take that long.
Oops! Hadn't heard that. Well, they have mine anyway.
