BEARDS OF IDYLLWILD

This man claims to have been continuously bearded for "about thirty years," and he advised that his beard was even longer until recently when he accidentally caught it on fire with a cigarette.

No. He was smoking at the time of this photograph. This was actually not the first time that he had accidentally burned of portions of his beard with a cigarette. It seems to be a recurring problem for the man.

Once would be enough for me. But then, I've never fully understood the way an addiction to smoking or caffeine or anything has a hold on you.
