I gave being fat a try and I just recently decided it's not a good look for me. I'm not going to be fat anymore. This will undoubtedly disappoint Sarah who is kind of a chubby chaser.
So many of your posts make me laugh out loud or pause for thought.
This one made me laugh out loud.
I never, ever comment, but I love your saucy blog, and I was wondering if you would mind my chillens memorizing one of your illustrious poems.
They learn a new poem every week or so (depending on the length of the poem) and are currently memorizing Robert Frost's "Evening in a Sugar Orchard." I thought the perfect follow-up poem would be one by a maple-hearted Vermontian (Vermonter?). Any especial favorites? A recommendation?

The maple tree sheds lots and lots
Of reddish leaves with rusty spots
That skitter, flitter down the street
And litter all the yards they meet.
Wahoo! Thanks. This'll be next on the docket. Were he still able, Mister Frost would be honored to be in such company.
