BEYOND THE RAPIDS IS A QUIET STRETCH

Sadly, I've decided to close the BFZ until after Labor Day. Lots of stuff has conspired to make this summer a busier season then normal. I know that the cardinal rule of good blogging is to post often, But it aint happening so I thought I might as well make it official and formally close up shop for a time. You should tune back in Spetember though because I plan to post  like fury to make my goal of 370 posts in 2011.

See ya in September!

Josh, I'm so sad!! :(
But I completely understand (not that I'm nearly as diligent a blogger as you) as this summer's day camp has sent me into a frenzy that I wasn't expecting.
Excited for September! :)

P.S. Does this mean Sarah's going to post more often since you'll be AWOL?

No more BFZ!!! Unthinkable! I'm all at once offended by the suggestion that I would abandon the BFZ altogether and touched that you care. Check back in after Labor Day... I promise a return the BFZ.

I'm interested to see who the BFZ will back in this election... I have my hopes, but since you usually have exactly the opposite of my opinions, I think my best bet is someone else. ;)

I remain hopeful that Governor Palin might still jump in. If she does she has my instant and fervent support. Of those candidates who have actually declared their candidacy I have to confess that I'm still in the air. It's not like me not to have an opinion at this stage in the game, but I can't just toss out a BFZ endorsement willy-nilly. I'm paralyzed by the awesome and sobering role of king maker. The coveted BFZ endorsement is bound to have a far reaching impact on the outcome of the republican primaries so I don't want to make a hasty judgment.

I have decided to oppose President Obama's bid for a second term, however.
