MY SHOES UPDATE

In a desperate attempt to save the BOAT SHOES I attempted an extremely risky surgery this past week to convert them into a funky pair of flip-flops. During their august career the BOAT SHOES had seen heavy use, which eventually resulted in a tear along the instep. As time went on the tear widened and it became necessary to attempt the risky surgery.
Once you cross the rubicon there is no turning back.
Tragically, the surgery failed. The resulting flip-flops were unwearable. They did not survive the surgery.

They were discarded today in a small, private ceremony.

Let's see---we call ourselves 'barefoot' and then go to excessive measures to be 'NON-unshod'.... tee hee ;) Karen V.

Karen, I don't mean to be rude, but this is no time for jokes. A good pair of shoes has been discarded. A little respect for those who are mourning please.

Tee-hee! J/K
