I think the problem is that the grafitti artist portrayed the heart and mind as two competing champions when really the heart follows the mind. I think we are designed in such a way that emotion always follows thought (Romans 12:2).
I do not agree with the artist, but neither do I agree that emotion always follows thought. I don't see how you get that from Romans 12:2. What of Genesis 8:21?
Whatever we take into our mind will find expression in our hearts. This is why so many argue that sin "feels right" even when it is in direct opposition to God's word. It only feels right because they have filled their mind with error. If they would allow God's word to renew their mind then sin would not "feel right." Emotion is the mind's dog. It follows.

Oops this is actually Josh, by the way. God's word confronts man intellectually resulting in a changed heart. A changed heart follows a renewed mind.
